| Chateau Cantaluna is located in Colthagua Valley, the main grapevine growing area in the center valley of Chile. Its vineyard covers an area of 450 hectares, spreading over several regions with planting diversified grapes. And it is a low-rainfall area so that grapes are always ripe and concentrated, planting Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Syrah, Pinot Noir, Carmenere, etc. Besides, by the influence of wet air from Pacific Ocean, Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc got a high quality. The perfect climate and the different type of soil with snow water made of a vineyard which can produce high quality grapes. Advocating nature, Chateau Cantaluna pays attention to local feature, trying to combine all kinds of grapes with the local microclimate and soil feature to brew wines containing unique flavor.
With dense ruby red, the wine mixes with blackcurrant, chocolate and cigar box like flavor, perfectly fermenting in French oak casks. It tastes rich and full-bodied, and you will have the long fragrance aftertaste.
